I tether 4G from my Android phone without a problem. For free. To be honest, the screen size doesn't bother me much...this coming from some one who made the transition to a 12" Chromebook from a 17" Dell laptop.

Portability is one of the key points of the Chromebook. 12"s is an ideal size for teachers, business people, ect...without the screen feeling too small.

4G yes please...15 inch..nope.

The reason Chromebooks are awesome is the thin, light, and smaller form factor. Since most web designed are made for 600 px and most 768, I don't see a reason for a larger screen. If it was going to stay 1280x768 then it would look like junk like most 500 dollar laptops.

I think the chromebook needs to expand its capability in software before anyone worries about a Hardware upgrade...not to mention the chromebook is meant to be small and compact, a 15.1" screen I think would defeat its purpose, but I'm not saying it couldn't happen in the future...but I don't think they should come out with new hardware just yet......they also need to expand their capabilities to use external components such as a CD-ROM....but thats just my opinion

For me, a netbook size screen just doesn't cut it for daily use. I would gladly sacrifice battery life for a larger screen. (At home sitting in the easy chair I'm plugged in anyway.) May one of the vendors producing 2nd generation Chromebooks make one with a 15.1 inch screen.

You can run Chrome OS on a USB stick with a PC or a Mac right now using Chrome OS Lime by Hexxeh.

Yup, it runs on my 15.6-inch notebook. I tried it a few days ago, and it boots in about 15 seconds.
