What is the sitch with Chromebook and itunes? If Chrome OS doesn't run programs then what is Google planning to help with this. It seems like a huge deal breaker.
I'm totally on the Chromebook bandwagon, but still want to enjoy the thousand + songs on my ipod.
What are you Chromebook users doing in the meantime?
You can upload your music to the cloud or use a program like subsonic on another computer.. either of these will mean you can play from the chromebook. You don't have to (and can't) install itunes.
Does Google Music work pretty much the same as iTunes, or are there significant differences? I suppose I could go try it myself, but I'm taking the lazy way out.
More or less if you want to use an iPod you NEED iTunes. I don't think that a Chromebook should be your only machine. Most people seem to have a second machine like a desktop...that can be used to upload your music to the cloud and run your iTunes for syncing your iPod.
