Default Google ChromeBook missing features

The Chrome book may not be the best thing yet, but it's good for a lot of things we need.

But it is missing out on some vital things we use on a daily basis.
I think the Chrome book WILL need most of the features list to help make it complete.

What do you guys think?
Any features it should have that aren't listed below?

From personal use of a Cr-48, I can state that #3 is false. #6 is false. #8 is false. #9 is true for some apps, but not for others.

Other Cr-48 users may have first-hand knowledge of some of the other points.

Default What's lacking

The bluetooth is going to be a biggie for me, because I use my laptop frequently to make presentations. Not having a bluetooth remote that frees me from the notebook is unacceptable.

Also, the lack of USB drive support will be an issue. Since the computer doesn't have a DVD drive, a USB peripheral would be a good option . . . if it was supported. Otherwise it will be a deal breaker for alot of users.

Because there is USB support and because there are USB remote controls, I think you'll find this product can be used for your presentations. I have not tried to use a remote control with the Cr-48, but I have used both USB & SD devices.

No Netflix!! What? No! I thought that you could watch Netflix or that they were going to have an app or something. Are you sure that you can not use Netflix on Google Chrome yet?

Yeah, that was the first thing I noticed - no Netflix! I don't believe that. Google has an app for that, and therefore, you should be able to watch Netflix on your Chromebook!

The Java thing is what bothers me. That is something I kind of need. A lot of websites I use, well they use Java applets and without that I could not participate in the live chats I like to join.

Well, I thought the chromebook was going to be a one-stop-shop. I cannot believe bluetooth is not supported. Google had better do something to fix this.

I thought all of those things were from the Dev models they had out for testing earlier versions of the Chrome OS. I think most, if not all, of those points refer to early builds and do NOT apply to the Chromebook product that is being released June 15.
