Default IE Tab in Chromebook

Does anyone know if IE Tab Classic can be used in Chromebook? I know it runs in the browser but can it actually run in Chrome in a chromebook?

Do you mean it runs in the Chrome browser? As long is it is not Java, and if it works in the Chrome browser, then I don't see why it wouldn't work in a Chromebook. Does one of the mods or users with a Chromebook have a definitive answer?

No the IE tab does not work in the Chromebook. It says it is missing plugin.

The various IE Tab extensions for Chrome and Firefox only work in Windows because they actually run Internet Explorer, which of course is only available on Windows.

The "ie tab" chrome extension runs the ie engine in the background and needs it to work. No ie, no ie tab functionality.

Does anyone know of an extension/app that can be used to run apps only compatible with IE from a Chromebook?
