Printing

I was thinking about getting the new Samsung Chromebook 11.6. I was wondering if you can eprint off of it or if I could get it to print on my hp6510 printer.

I have my wife's Samsung Chromebook set up with Google cloud print with my two printers.

1) Brother HL 2170w
2) Epson Workforce 520

Both work with no issues. the only thing I found is that I can't change the resolution on the printer for printing images.

I've been trying to print from my Chromebook to my Epson Workforce 520 with zero luck. I've made sure the printer was on, and that I was logged into Chrome (and followed other suggestions at the Chromebook help site). So, good luck! I'd like to know how jczr2 does it.

I've had my Acer Chromebook for five days now... I can print most things using a basic Epson SX 200 inkjet printer... I just save web pages, pictures, forms, data etc as PDFs (to Google cloud) access that from my main PC: and print... Hey presto ~ job done....

Since the previous post, I've managed to connect my Chromebook to my Epson SX200 Inkjet printer, via my router, so that I can print any file directly from the Chromebook, without having to save it first: in a different format......

Naturally, the computer that's connected to the printer, has to be running ~ as does the printer... There is no way to bring either machine out of sleep mode, from a distance...

Even at that, I'm beginning to like this little machine more and more every day...

Brother 2170W and Chromebook

How did you get your Chromebook to work with the Brother HL-2170w?
