Picasa question

When you download Picasa to a standard PC and run the file it opens up and catalogs all of the photos on your computers. That doesn't automatically post them online does it?

No - don't worry!

The Picasa photo library/editing app you install is totally separate to the Picasa web photo sharing site.
They can work together well, but you can use either without the other.

I have my own Picasa quesion. Do you know how they say that if you put a photo up on Facebook, that Facebook owns the photo? If you put pictures on Picasa do they get to take ownership?

zora, just to set the record straight, a quote:

Do I retain the copyright and other legal rights to material I upload to Facebook?
Yes, you retain the copyright to your content. When you upload your content, you grant us a license to use and display that content.
What you have heard is one of those often-sent hoaxes that the fear-mongers send out to everyone to make them worry.
