Vs iPad

Will the ChromeBook be a valid competitor against the iPad or is it that, being in a different class of devices, it is more likely to compete against net-books? iPad can do things the ChromeBook can't do and vice-versa.

I'll still buy an iPad, but I've not got 3 Cr-48 and love them. 99% of the time it does what I need it to do.

My chromebook replaced a netbook and an iPad. My husband has a desktop PC that I use occasionally and I use a desktop at school. Now that I've updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5, I may not need to use my husbands desktop anymore , and I think chromebooks are a practical option for the classroom. I'll be testing my chromebook's 3G tomorrow. I'm taking my Samsung Series 5 on a trip to my in-laws' who live in an area with poor cell coverage.

I think the iPad enclosure is very good, is the ideal for carrying an iPad, and it has a dual purpose, can be in the proper place to put it together when the stent, prop up the iPad to the ideal Angle, easy to watch the video and slide, or type on the on-screen keyboard
