Powered USB Hubs

I was thinking about an upcoming trip last night, and visualizing using my Acer in the hotel room, accomplishing all sorts of amazing things and having a grand time. I've used USB hubs many times while travelling, and I have an idea I'd eventually like to take an external drive to have access to a LOT of movies and other big files while out camping or otherwise out of pocket.
That leads us to the necessity of a powered hub, and I was wondering what units that people here have had good experiences with. I'm personally leaning toward this unit: http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-USB-Plus-Port-F5U307-WHT/dp/B000NAXC6Q/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=1VE6A6QURYKC8&coliid=I9NMJS0N7S9LMBelkin makes good stuff, and really examine the photos of this thing. Let me know what you guys have done and what you think.
