Love this idea. I am so happy companies are moving to smaller "tower" options

I would love if Google came out with a desktop system. It would be so cool

A smaller tower might keep me interested in a desktop. Otherwise, I've just been using a laptop, since it is so much more convenient.

I'm not sure how I feel about Chrome OS for home. I'm a hardcore gamer and use expensive audio/video editing programs that will likely never be supported by Chrome OS.

I'd much rather keep it to laptops. Maybe for businesses this could work, but in a consumer market I don't think it'll really take off.

I've gotten pretty spoiled with the mobility of a laptop. I can't imagine being confined to a desktop ever again.

I look forward to the shift of focus to the desktop front and I also foresee major improvements on the Android OS for the smartphone landscape. A few years ago, the idea of a Chromebook alone was unimaginable but here we are.

Looks interesting, but you could fill an office with Raspberry Pis for $350. They can run ubuntu and chromium, and while the CPU isn't enormous the graphics are not too shabby.
If you've not heard of the raspi before check them out.. the little $35 computer is getting a lot of interest.
