Chromebooks still not available in Canada

Which is a sad because by the time Windows 8 is out all the advantages chromebooks offer Windows will have them too.

SecureBoot. Cheap Arm models. Long battery life.

I wish Google would say something about the situation.

PS: no, I won't import from the States. I prefer with a warranty and a localized keyboard (fr-CA).

Google Chromebook in Canada?

Complain to Bell, Rogers, Shaw, Telus, Videotron, etc.

You need a 3G data package for your Chromebook since everything is stored "in the cloud".

Yet another reason to disband the CRTC and allow foreign competition in our telecom industry.

So by bringing your Chromebook into Canada, you'll just be using it on WiFi, correct?

That's correct. I've been using it mostly at home here in AZ, and at McDonalds.

That's awesome. I need to get myself a Chromebook! I'm located in Vancouver, Canada.
