I want to be part of a group that first landed their hands on this powerful device and two, since my laptop got stolen immediately a week, I would be honored to win.

Going to grad school this fall for Architecture and I need a laptop. Planning on getting a desktop for all the 3D + graphic stuff, but still want a shiny new Chromebook to have for taking notes and site visits.

I want to win, since I never got a chance to win the prototype version.

I should win so I can give it to my mom, whose 6-year-old Sony won't last much longer, and who, ever since Bernie Madoff made off with her retirement fund, would have a hard time putting together the money for a new one.

1) I already use almost all of Google's services, and am extremely excited about Chromebooks.
2) I'm a nursing student, and my laptop completely died on me. I need a new one, but I'm low on funds.
3) Because I'm the awesomeness.

I have a piece of tape holding down the cover of my old Toshiba Satellite laptop and I have a prop the screen up against something to stop it from falling over... Plus - I really love all things Google. Oh, and I abide by the "don't be evil" rule too...

Looks like a forward-looking approach to the web, computing, and storage; perfect for my applications!

This. Also because I recently sold my laptop with the intention of getting a Chromebook, but the money I had saved up is gone due to an emergency my partner had. Bummer!

I'm wa-a-ay behind the times. All I have is an old iMac (the kind that has a half sphere base). I want to catch up and even leap ahead.
