language support?

Im thinking about getting a CB for my mom. the problem is, she does not speak much english..
do you guys know what languages will be supported?

While the Google Chrome browser supports over 40 languages, safe bet that Google is going to officially support the languages of the countries the CB are going to go on sale.

i need russian, and its not going on sale in russia.. thats the concern

Im sure google will have language packages to swap and download or other options, is their a Russian language option in your google chrome os broswer?

You mean in the 'chrome browser?' if so, then yes

If thats the case I'm sure there will be a russian language patch/application you can use. I don't see why not.

Being that nothing is stored on the chromebook but in the cloud, support for a lot of languages should be on the chromebook from the start. I bet we can confirm this with some chrome OS product info

It's good to hear that there will be language options. It's not something I really thought about before as I am okay with just English, but this would make the market so much wider.
