Installing Hard Drive in current Chromebooks

Hi. I used to live in NZ where I had an Acer Chromebook which had a 320gb hard drive. I am now in the UK and I would like to know if it is possible to install the hard drive from my old Chromebook into another Acer Chromebook ? If so how would it affect the operation of the Chromebook? Also which models of Acer Chromebooks can accommodate this hard drive and are both 11 and 14 inch models able to be used. Also would other brands of Chromebooks do as well please.Thank you Alistair Clarke, Newport. South Wales UK

If you have a jump drive, an external hard drive, or an SD card, you can use it without any major problems on a Chromebook. If your jump drive or external hard drive has a USB connection, simply plug it into one of your available USB ports. If your Chromebook has an available SD card slot, simply insert your card.
