Is this forum a total scam?

I've looked through every inch of this forum...and no Chromebook winners were ever posted on June 15th. Have we all been taken for a ride? This all seems a bit odd as someone is still hosting this forum; however, the only real information about the contest was posted at the very beginning of setting up the forum.

What do you think...is this forum a scam?

I would hope that a forum moderator will be along before too long to explain things.

If not, then there is only one conclusion to make...

unfortunately the admin, who postet the contest hasn't logged in since a week (you can see that on his public profile), so that's not very reassuring either

My guess is that "technical difficulties" have emerged , not surprising for technology so new. I'll be patient until the situation clears.

Forum technology isn't new. There is nothing stopping the announcement of winners, even if the delivery of the prizes will take a while.

I hate to point this out but no one anywhere got a Chromebook. If there is a legal issue then that might cause a delay in choosing winners. I mean if I was giving away a piece of merchandise that mysteriously doesn't get released and there was a legal struggle and no news, I would hold off because I wouldn't want to do anything to get myself in to trouble. You see where I am going with this?

By "new technology" I meant Chrome-in-the-Cloud. There may well have been some glitches in the Chromebook rollout. I notice that Amazon's main page has not yet begun to flog the product. Stay tuned, I guess.

It would be illegal to give away a product that the main company hasn't sold a non-release version yet, and that there is a legal battle of selling the product, so i don't think the company can give it away just yet! Just be patience!

Still, an explanation would be nice.
