Will this even work for me??

I am a brand new Chromebook user, and I don't know if I'll even be able to use this. I don't seem to be able to access my old email the way I used to. I can get my emails if I search under "rogers email login", but that won't show any of my old emails, only the ones I haven't read yet. Also, the Chromebook doesn't seem to have a "Start" button where I can view my control panel, my document file, my picture file etc. I don't do a lot on the computer so I don't need a lot of the complicated stuff, but I can't seem to find even the limited things I could do on my Windows based system. Please help, or I'll have to take this thing back to the store out of sheer frustration

This is Chrome OS not Windows OS. Mail can be accessed thru g-mail, pictures thru Picasa or google+, there is no control panel, use the apps button to go to "files" which gives access to downloads and google drive. Google drive is where to store your documents. There are many good apps in the Web Store.
You have to load your documents into google drive or load photos to Picasa or google+ or store your photos on a removable storage device. The Chromebook stores everything "in the cloud" online or in removable storage. All the things that you need to adjust in Windows are transparent in the Chromebook and taken care of by those wonderful programmers at Google! You must understand that all the world does not use Windows

I think that is everyones biggest issue when getting a Chromebook - they expect the Windows or Apple experience. This is a cloud based device, hence the low RAM and processor speed (compared to what is available, that is).

I love my C7. But I will admit it took some getting used to.

What model do you have? If you go to 'Apps' then 'Files' you can see locally stored files. But Google Storage (yes, cloud storage) is your friend!

In my opinion, It is the problem of your Ram, Increase Your Ram and also check Your Processor.
