Is Chrome OS download only?

If you wanted to get a copy of Chrome OS would you have to download it? Is there any way to get a copy of it on a CD?

I guess you could pay a friend or relative to download it and burn it onto CD if you have no internet access. :D

But if you don't have internet access then why would you want Chrome OS? Wouldn't it be basically useless without an internet connection?

Why do you need it on a CD, anyway, Ben?

I wouldn't go the route of burning it on a CD. I think there are too many things that could go wrong. I would go to a friend's house and use their wireless connection.
