The demand for systems is still there and many times the locations are sold out and you are automaticly placed onto a wait list. Ebay sellers are still getting a premium for chromebooks.

Samsung's Chrombox, has almost disappeared, it can be quite difficult to find a i5 processor, most of the time you must purchase a celeron unit, and upgrade the processor. While upgrading the processor add a larger drive for dual booting purposes.

My local computer store Fry's Electronic still does not have the Chromebooks. I find this odd as they have two Zotac netbox Ubuntu computers still on display, but half the time they are turned off when I visit the store. Yes Chromebooks is missing from this big box store.
