Nearly nine hours of continuous usage! Wonderful and a major attraction. I was so disappointed to realise my laptop would be spluttering for life after a couple of hours away from power!

I sometimes forget every time I am hyping the Acer Chromebook that there is a lot to be said for the extra hours of battery life that come with the Samsung Series 5.

8.5 hours of use is really good. I know with iPhone's if you have a lot of APP's open it will kill your battery faster, I hope the Chromebook isn't like this.

Is their anymore information on the Samsung Chromebook battery?

I would love to have a chromebook just because of the battery life. My laptop will no long connect to my battery and i have to have it plugged in continuously (pain in the butt). Also that would be great for traveling if you leave your plug at home and you're only a way for a few days.

Intel® Atom

What can the Intel Atom Dual Core do and not do? Can you plug in an external blu-ray player and watch a blu-ray?
