Disadvantages of the Samsung Chromebook

Samsung recently introduced new notebooks in the Series-Q including Q330, Q430 and Q530. I was just wondering what are considered the disadvantages of the Samsung 12.1" Chromebooks and whether the notebooks above can later be modified into the latter.

Lease Versus Buy

I've heard Google plans to offer monthly lease options for chromebooks to businesses, but why not individuals? - I don't want to buy an early model and then wait a year or two before I can afford its replacement, presumably one with many more advantages.

Google probably thinks it'd be more hassle and money than it's worth to run individual consumer leases. If I were Google, I certainly wouldn't do it.

There are a lot of very good reasons for this, one being credit. Google would either need to run credit checks (annoying for both parties), or have to deal with people who never intend to pay their monthly fee. How would Google go about retrieving their machines from people like this?

That's the way I see it, although it's just my opinion. Maybe some one could offer some insight as to why Google should do individual consumer leases.

Remember that Google is revolutionizing the laptop model. by this i mean that the software/apps/security etc keeps "getting better" because the OS in the browser means that most everything is run and updated on Google servers--ie in the cloud. It is true that hardware could improve---ie faster processor speed, quad core, hdmi input etc but I think for most people buying the Chromebook, it is a great step forward now.
