Built in camera

How do you take a picture with the Chromebook camera? When I first started it up it took my picture but it wasn't a very good one.

My camera works

I dug up something else. If I go to 'gmail' and click the gear in the upper right after my name I get a settings window. Click on the 'chat' tab and see your camera, microphone and speakers. Click on 'verify your settings' and I see myself (the camera works), I speak and see the audio bar move (the microphone works), and I 'play the test sound' and hear the ringing sound (the speakers work). It's great.

It would be neat if they could use the photo as a sort of finger print. Of course that probably wouldn't work, and what if you did something like dye your hair?

I am smiling at your way of looking at it Quinn. You guys already have a Chromebook? I am sure you are loving the experience.

I was looking to win a freebie any time soon, failure to which I would have to make a tough choice between Samsung and Acer.

Maybe it could just account for facial symmetry instead of the person having to look exactly as they did in the picture?
