Angry Acer Chrombook Wi-Fi to ship mid-July, #g mid-August!

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere on the forum.. I didn't see it listed.

Directly from Amazon's website..

"The Acer AC700 Chromebook (Wi-Fi) will begin shipping in mid-July. See our full selection and check out all of the great features that Chromebooks have to offer at our Chromebook Store."

"The Acer AC700 Chromebook (3G) will begin shipping in mid-August. See our full selection and check out all of the great features that Chromebooks have to offer at our Chromebook Store."

I pre-ordered the Acer but am not contemplating getting the Samsung. I'm without a PC (desktop or laptop) at the moment, so getting one quick is of utmost importance. Anywho- this sucks....

What's the hold up??????

That is quiet the product delays but i guess good things you need to wait for no doubt, as far as acer messing up it may be part due to the earthquake in japan and part shortages or everywhere and what not.

Maybe Japan should outsource some of their work to the U.S. then we can have jobs and Acers! In the mean time I think I am going to have to jump on the Samsung bandwagon, sorry Acer.
