Acer Chromebook - why buy?

I'd love to buy a new chromebook, and am wondering why the Acer might make sense for anyone? Is it just a price thing? It is cheaper than the Samsung, but it seems otherwise inferior. I mean the 11.6" screen is really small.

Help me out... who is buying the Acer Chromebook and why are they buying it?

I'd buy the acer one just for the HDMI outputs that i could plug into my tv @ home and the extra HD, other than that the Samsung that used the Mini VGA output is just outdated and old!

The small screen (and as a result smaller body) would likely be more ideal for people who commute via public transportation.

I have an acer laptop I like, I got it for the price. If the acer is the best price for a chrome, I would buy it. Sorry but I don't have extra money to spend! A smaller size would be nice for commuting. I walk a lot and often carry my laptop, which seems to weigh a ton after a while.

Acer has proven themselves really well in the laptop department. Plus Google Chrome was actually intended for netbooks anyways but the first ones are laptops.

I am not an Acer fan but I suppose the price is one factor that will attract buyers. The small screen would be good for people who intend to use theirs while traveling or in class or something like that.

The acer is cheaper and has an HDMI-out. And the screen isn't all that much smaller anyhow. I'm eyeing the Acer model for sure, it looks pretty cool.

that should be a major plus for students & business people since they carry around other school/business related things already, having something compact like the Acer chromebook won't be a problem and bothersome

I hate hauling around my Toshiba laptop, it's all big a and bulky so lightening up the load will be awesome.

HDMI option on the Acer is nice, but i've been a samsung fan forever, i will need to be convinced to buy a Acer

samsung donates some of their profits to charity. I wonder if both wifi and 3g cards are the same?
