You mean like thinVNC?
ThinVNC is a html5 remote desktop server. You install it onto the matinee you want to rdp into, or onto a 'gateway' machine. You can then access it from any modern browser using http or https.
There are other similar products out there too.
VPN seems a bit pointless to me when you have no local software. Am I missing something there?
Dunno about a VMWare view client. What would that do that RDP wouldn't?
I'm confused, will not connect to your internal WiFi because of your company's security or because of the Chromebooks security. Me, I would recomend this to my boss, and I already have!
Yes, my company has switched to gmail for our mail, docs, and they are hosting our internal app for 90% of everything we use a computer for. we too have a vpn available which we are trying to obsolete via a Gapp, and some offices were running an extraordinary tkip on the wifi, but that has been dealt with.
