They look very much like any other laptop. Especially the Acer and Samsung models, since the outside looks like other Acer and Samsung machines. The CR-48 is a little different, but not really enough...

Since online backup is part of the cloud, can one backup all the stuff from a current computer and access it all with the Chromebook? That would sure be handy when switching to a new Chromebook.

That's pretty nice! It used to be only PCMCIA cards could offer internet to a computer without a built in ethernet port, so I'm glad to hear there are USB devices that offer that now.

The Mobile Hotspot might be good if you do a lot of traveling (it can go with you), but if you will be home mostly, I think I might opt for the Fibre if it isn't outrageously expensive.
