Hi, a friend of mine is selling an unused Samsung with 3G. I would like to install something like Ubuntu, and I am wondering about the 3G, if it will still work.

If Ubuntu is supporting the chipset of the 3G Modem, then there should be no problem.
Ubuntu does support 3G very well
