I'm thinking about going with a Chromebook but want to make sure that I can easily store and then access a web page I have stored on my hard drive. I don't need to edit it with the Chromebook but just browse to it from Chrome. I use this page as my own personal portal page/intranet to use either at work or at home. Thanks.

Thank you Mr_Pat. As a guest on my wife's chromebook there is a three bar icon there which opens a window offering to list, amongst other things, bookmarked sites and bookmark new ones (Ctrl-D). Doesn't work for me, presumably because guest history is not retained. Will get her to try it later.
