Acer c720p no cursor/mousepad isn't working.

Hey guys,
I have a problem with my Chromebook. My Chromebook won't register my mouse pad at all. Luckily I have the c720p so I can use the touch screen, but I Stoll like having both. I do have it in developer mode and dual boot with legacy. And with that being said I use Linux for simulating games and that's really it. I tried following a how to on how to use a Xbox controller to use for emulating and the cursor worked then. However after I woke up it didn't work on Linux nor ChromeOS. I've tried putting it in and out of Dev mode (to erase everything that I did to "mess it up") but it still doesn't work. I need help trying to fix this.

TL;DR my mouse pad won't work and I need it to.

Mmmmm...

That sounds a bit of a mess to me... But I don't know a great deal about these machines... If it were mine, or such happened to mine, I'd try putting it right back to it's original settings and start all over again... That would be my way of dealing with that problem...

RD....
Tried putting it and out of Dev mode multiple times. And I tried reinstalling chromeos but still doesn't work. What's odd though is now it recognizes a mouse. I don't remember it doing that before.
