What are the differences?

I know that Acer has a HDMI port, smaller screen, weighs slightly more and have less battery life. Samsung has a VGA port, larger screen, weighs slightly less and have more battery life. Anything else?

Is it true that Acer has a HD Webcam and Samsung has a VGA Webcam? Sometimes it says that both have HD Webcam on websites but according to Chromebooks official website it says that Samsung has a VGA Webcam.

I got an Acer because the "head to head" comparisons said it had the best keyboard; and the ability to stream video to a flatscreen tv. VGA is low quality for that.

And, it must be admitted, the Acer was cheaper.
Good to know about the keyboard!

I must say I don't understand how Samsung can be more expensive when it's Acer that offers HDMI port. The difference in weight and battery life is far too small to justify the higher price. Even the screen size.

I think these differences are enough. And it proves that Samsung is better than Acer.
It proves nothing. Samsung is more expensive and doesn't offer a HDMI port (or HD Webcam?). Nor is it possible to remove the battery/upgrade (although not necessary). The difference in weight, battery life and screen size is too small to justify its higher price.

I think it will be an Acer after all. :)

the samsung does have a hdmi port, and its also got a solid state hard drive, meaning no moving parts inside which means its not sensitive to being bounced around and knocked, unlike a spinning hard drive that acer has.
