When Acer’s original C7 Chromebook launched, it carried a $199 price tag, 2GB of RAM, and about 3.5 hours of battery life.
The updated model C710-2055: doubles the memory to 4GB RAM, same hard drive storage of 320GB, and packs a 6-cell battery with a rated life of 6 hours. These improvements come with an $80 price bump, bringing the MSRP to a reasonable $279.99.
Cost of the extra memory, and larger battery seems to be only boost to price.
