Is the plug for the Chromebook grounded? Meaning, the plug and adapter that you use to charge your laptop, does it have 2 or three prongs?

That means it's grounded. That's good to know. Anybody know for sure about the Acer? I have one laptop cord that isn't grounded and if I have my arm on it just wrong, it will shock me (NOT a Chromebook, btw).

The wall plug has 3, but I'm not sure there are 3 contacts on the connector on the laptop end.

My Acer netbook was grounded...I would think that the new Acer would be as well. I know my CR-48 was as well.

I think grounded laptops/netbooks are much better than ungrounded ones. While that could be a hassle if you are at someones house who happens not to have grounded wall plugs you could always carry a 3 pronged adapter.
