I read Jeff Bezos comments yesterday about "stay tuned" for information regarding an Amazon tablet. I have a feeling their tablet will run Android software (natural given that they already have an Android marketplace) ... so interesting to hear that they are also 1 of 2 major sellers of the Chromebooks.

I have a feeling Amazon could also become a producer of Chromebooks, similar to what they do with the Kindle.

If Amazon and Google really team up on this, the Chromebooks could have a really major impact on the market.

Agreed, the reality being that Amazon does really want to get into the "own the entire experience" market, Chromebook is about the only affective way to do that and succeed quickly in their case.

An Amazon Chromebook would be great! It be nice if they would come out with some kind of dual LCD/eink screen, so magazines could really be readable on the device.
