On the Windows platform you can change the size, color and other things about the pointer arrow. Can you do that on the Chromebook? Need the arrow larger and a different color. Also would like the screen maginfier to only do part of the screen again like in Windows rather than the whole screen that makes it hard to navigate.

Hi, I just bought my chromebook. Visionproblems. Cannot find any help in finding out if the cursor (arrow) can be enlarged. Have you figured it out yet?
i don't do this site well yet so you could respond at [email protected]
if you wish. I cannot see the tiny arrow and may have to return the chromebook if I can't figure this out. Thanks. Fran

Doug, i just got off the online chat with Acer and they said there is no way to increase or enlarge the size of the cursor or arrow. There is no app to download either. I am returning my Chromebook. Hope you have better luck.

Mouse pointer...

If you go into settings and select the advanced partition, there's a section there, where you can change the size of the arrow, but not the colour...

It can make the pointer larger, in one complete operation by ticking a box, but I find the large pointer too big for my liking... There's no in between setting at the moment, although I have made a suggestion that such be set on a sliding scale...

Further to my last post, I have managed to cope with the larger pointer and run with that all the time now... The other interesting thing, is that in the larger format, the arrowed pointer has turned black instead of being white... I like that as well ~ a lot...
