I read somewhere that the Acer and Samsung Chromebooks can stay for 6 or 8 hours on a single charge and I was wondering if there are any tips you know of for preservation of the same?
You know, I heard that the Chromebook has a REALLY bright screen. I would think that the higher the brightness the faster you lose the battery. I would suggest turning the brightness way down unless you really need it.
I would suggest you use the battery only when you are out and about. At home you can use the mains power and this will preserve the life of your battery for years.
