Bookmarking

I have bought a Samsung Chromebook 3 to encourage my wife to become au fait with the web and internet before I pop my clogs. For something that publicity here in the UK is suggesting is suitable for the beginner it is baffling this 14 year Linux/GNU user in places.

How does one bookmark a website? A fundamental for a cloud device surely, yet I've just spent half an hour without solving the problem. I'm getting a little long in the tooth, but not that long surely.

All help gratefully acknowledged.

There is an outline of a star in the far right side of the URL (web address) area.

if needed you can turn on the bookmark bar too. I dont think it shows by befault.
