Hello,
I'm considering getting a chrome book, but I've never used one, and have a couple questions first.

I mostly want one for two reasons. 1) check email on the road, which I'm sure it'll be capable of, and 2) I want to be able to transfer data/pictures from a SD card to either an onboard or portable HDD.
Are there any limitations or concerns I should be aware of before making this commitment?
Thank you in advance for your answers

No you will not have any issues with your 2 reasons to purchase a Chromebook. I'm on my 2nd one and never use my desktop anymore. Check out Google Photos. When get your book, you can use Google Drive as your cloud storage for general stuff and Google Photos for your pictures. Hope this help your decision and welcome. ~ jcyeary3
