Built-In Camera?

I am a volunteer teacher of computers and software for hundreds of seniors at large senior centers here in Colorado.
Does it have a built-in camera? They use Skype quite a bit, and love seeing their grandchildren.

i believe it comes with a camera. so no worry :)
That is great. I bought this Acer Aspire and thought it came with a web cam, and it doesn't have one. I am really missing having a camera. Never had an HD one, so that is fancy too.
I do not have an HD anything. My computers and TV's are regular old electronics. Can you tell me what will make the HD camera on a Google Chromebook better than other cameras?
Yes, it does have a cam.

Since my son will be having a baby in August a thousand miles from me and I can't be there :( I hope I win the chromebook with the build in cam! Thank goodness for the internet.
I've never had a computer with a built in camera, I just use a cheap thing I picked up at a store. It is hard to find a good spot for it though, especially when the angle isn't flattering. Where in the Chromebook is the camera then?

It's in the center above the screen. I have a sony lap top that has an eye motion (cam) but when I updated to windows 7 64bit it hasn't worked since. They are super nice built in... another reason I want to get a new notebook.
Yes certain models do have a web cam ,and are skype capable, so it should be a cheap and nice buy for you.
That's great to know it comes with HD camera. What would be the use of a Chromebook without this addition? If my phone can video call, a Chromebook should do more.

While it does have a camera, I do not think there is a Skype web app. Remember, this is a Chrome-everything laptop. If it doesn't happen inside Chrome, then it doesn't happen on a Chromebook.

Because Microsoft just bought Skype. I highly doubt that Skype will ever work. Fear not though! Google voice allows video chat and free as well.
I read you can't use Skype on a chromebook?
Video chat works just as good as Skype. But the other user must use gmail.
My Sanyo Chrome book comes with a camera, but I've yet to figure out how to use it.
