I am looking for the ability to dual-boot on the chromebook - the GIMP and other linux mainstays are very attractive to me. Assuming enough of the drivers make it to linux, would it be possible to get linux on there WITHOUT Verified Boot going in and replacing my chosen operating system ASAP? In other words, can I do something simple like replace an md5 somewhere? Is it more complicated but feasible like fluffing up the kernel with empty space to make it match an md5?
