I heard that 160 million people now use the Chrome search engine. I wonder how much of an impact that figure has on the launch of the Chromebook. Perhaps as people are becoming familiar with the word Chrome they are more interested?
Google's search engine is the Chromes Search engine, its taken off very nicely since almost the year 200 or even before that. In term of a browser it has evolved with how google has developed chrome turning it into a browser OS
That should have a big impact on google chromebook sales since a percentage of those 160 million + people will like the google chrome browser enough that having a computer based off of it will work well for them.
What will steer people away from it is the "cloud", not everyone will want their information stored in a "cloud"
