Chromebook and Verizon Mifi Issues

Hi everyone

I am currently using a chromebook wifi with my verizon mifi. The issue is that it seems much slower loading and keeping connections to webpages than using the chrome browswer on my macbook air. I have tested them using the access point at the same place / time loading up the same pages, mostly gmail, google voice and forums. Always seems slower on the chromebook or will just timeout, all while the macbook loads them fine.

Any ideas?
