Why the disadvantage on individual who pays the unit upfront? If that's the case, I'm going back to university. As if it's the end of the world if I don't get the same privilege. LOL!
Say you pay $329 for an Acer Wi-Fi only model. That's it, you're done paying.

Schools on the other hand, are paying $200/mo at the minimum (that's ten machines at $20/mo) under a three year agreement. While you only paid $329 for a machine that should last you three or more years, Google will have received at least $7,200 from any one school in that three years.
