Supported types of Wi-Fi networks

Standards: 802.11 a/b/g/n
Security: WEP, WPA/WPA2

Unable to connect

If you're unable to connect to the wireless network that you've selected, the network signal may be too weak. Try connecting to another available network. If no networks are available, you can always use mobile broadband or plug in a supported USB Ethernet adapter to connect to a local area network.

Connected, but unable to sign in

If the network signal appears strong but you are repeatedly having trouble signing in, you might have entered the password incorrectly, or your Chromebook may not be authorized to connect to the network. Contact the network administrator for more information.

Grayed-out or "not configured" networks

Networks that require security certificates are not yet supported in Chrome OS. Please connect to another network in the meantime.
