I do not like having to use the numbers on the top row of the computer keypad. From the pictures I have seen, the other Google Chromebooks do not have a keypad, does the CR-48?

That's an excellent question! I actually plug in a separate keyboard just to use the numbers on the side. It would be nice if someone would come up with a laptop with that type of keyboard.

Clinquant, that is a great tool you have there, I take it that it is USB? The problem is that the Google Chromebooks I have seen only have 2 USB ports, I use a USB mouse because I hate touchpads. That means both are eaten up and then you have to get a splitter.

You make a good point. I love when a computer has 4 USB port. Two on the side and two extra in the back. To me that would be the perfect setup for GoogleChrome.

I will second that. If you won't add a keypad, then add 2 more ports on the next generation of Google Chromebooks. I know it is to late to ask for that change now, but next go around would be fantastic.

I have a four port USB dongle connected to mine. Takes up a little room, but it gets the job done.

The width of the computer is determined by the size of the screen, and the Cr-48 has a 12.1" screen. If you put in a numeric keypad, you have to shrink the keys to fit them in.

I tried my USB external one I bought the my Mac and no go...lame...
