I was reading a blog that was suggesting that Google's main target right now are schools and businesses. There was a mention to the third market being fans who like to live in the cloud. Do you think this blog is correct?

I like it so far. I don't own a Chromebook yet, but I use almost all of Google's services. I use Google Docs, Calendar, Picasa, Google Voice, and I've also been using Google's Music Beta for about 2 weeks and like it a lot.

I don't think that I'll feel the "culture shock" that most people will when switching to the cloud.

I use a ton of Google's services as well. For me Google Docs, Google Calander, Picasa, Google Voice and soon Google Plus are all important. That is part of the reason I want a Chromebook so much! So yes, I love living in the cloud! Hey, I'm on cloud 9!

I agree that the Google Chromebook has schools and businesses at a target. I think that is the best way to get exposure while really understanding what users need. And yes, I love to live in the cloud!

i got the samsung chromebook and am slowly moving to the cloud. gmail is a given and i have started using calendar + picasa as well. and google+ once that is released.

The only thing I use another computer for is uploading my music to Google Music, which requires native software. Otherwise things have been a breeze with my Chromebook.

I have yet to get a Chromebook but when word went round that this was the next fad in the computing industry, I slowly started acquainting myself with the cloud concept and so far, I like the experience.

Actually, many of us have been living in the cloud without realizing it. I have been using facebook and saving all my docs in my email (as a draft) before Google Docs came out. Of course I still use flash drive from time to time.

It is very easy to live in the clouds, and to do it for free.
