I noticed that it seems to be missing from the specs and info... does the Acer Chromebook have an SSD slot?
It looks like the Samsung Chromebook definetly has one,but now I'm concerned that it appears as though the Acer does not

This would be a major loss.

I haven't read anything indicating it has one, so I'd have to say it doesn't. I guess it is the Samsung Chromebook FTW

It seems to be a SSD mit SATA and not mSATA Connector, but in a smaller size than standard SATA:
