Nope. Drag and drop isn't working yet. Also copy and paste between a external device (USB Drive) and File Shelf isn't working yet either.. In a Panel at Google IO they are working on getting the file manager more advanced.

Chrome OS file manager currently doesn't support drag-and-drop. You can, however, download the Picasa Uploader extension which allows you to upload images to your Picasa account without going to Picasa's website.

Glad to hear that! As long as we're talking about the file manager here...check out this screenshot I got earlier this morning. For a brief moment, this is what was coming up whenever I tried to load an image from my hard drive onto Pixlr. I didn't even think to try dragging anything...shoot. The regular file manager is back in place now.

i didn't know that a simple drag & drop file system was considered advanced. This is certainly an area I'd like to see some upgrades.
