I'm looking to purchase a new external harddrive but I'm not sure which to go for. I've heard really good things about the Western Digital drives, but they're a little bit pricey. My last external harddrive was a Seagate which was just okay.
I'm looking to get at least 1TB, don't need firewire and smaller would fit easier on my desk. Help?
Western Digital is the best. Has been for as long as I can remember. I know they cost a little more, but it really is worth it. You don't want to take a chance on your data disappearing!
I agree with Dee. Western Digital may be a more expensive, but a) they're really good and last a long time, and b) they tend to go on sale every other month. So just wait for a good sale price and then buy one.
