Managed to get my Chrome Book linked to my television a couple of days ago, via the HDMI facility... A few problems to begin with, which were mainly centered around resolution settings... But once I got that (and the mirroring settings) sorted everything seemed to work as I'd hoped and I was more than surprised at the overall quality and functional ability, that such a small machine could produce...
My main interest in testing this kind of facility, lies in a desire to give powerpoint, tutorial and other interesting such-like demonstrations/shows to a number of elderly people (aged 60 plus) who, like myself, live in a sheltered housing complex and are interested in computing...
If anyone else uses this type of facility for similar (or training) purposes, I'd be pleased to hear how they've got on with the process...
