No one knows for sure what held Acer up on releasing the Chromebook. They were pretty tight lipped about it. This ISYS lawsuit was huge in the news and now I can't find any info on it. I have been wondering what happened too.
It seems some sort of agreement was arrived at since the official launch of the Chromebook had been kind of delayed. About the delayed release of the Acer, I have never gotten an answer as well.
