Having to Powerwash to Get Gmail to Load

Google search and Gmail occasionally stop loading.
In Google search, I will type in a search term, hit enter, and the results never load.
In Gmail, the mail starts to load, but the meter box stalls and it never loads.
If I go to settings and perform a Powerwash of the device, they both start working again...but only for a few days.
Could I have a virus???
Wouldn't a Powerwash eliminate it??

This is driving me nuts.....HELP!!

I don't quite follow your method of accessing a Gmail account...

The easiest way to log on, or in, is to open chrome and in the top right-hand corner of the screen, you should see a link to Gmail...

Click on that and the page should load without a hitch...
