HELP!! The keyboard on my Acer C7 has stopped working. i can press any key and I get nothing. I can plug in a wireless keyboard and it works fine. but my new problem is somehow the WiFi button was pushed to off, and now it acts like its locked. Nothing I do will fix it. I have gone to settings, clicked the WiFi button on the bottom of the screen, Used the wireless keyboard and nothing... Any ideas on how to fix this... The laptop is right at a year old...

Hi jbarta,

If it's broken hardware, might need a new keyboard? Don't know the C7, might be a fiddly job, or easy.
If it's a software issue, back up _all_ your stuff to an external drive using the wireless keyboard for control - then try:
1) Click on time/status area in menu bar then Settings -> "Show Advanced Settings" -> "Reset Settings" (near the bottom of the page)
...if this fails try:
2) Click on time/status area in menu bar then Settings -> "Show Advanced Settings" ->
"Powerwash"
This should reset all the software back to original state....
Hopefully this would clear any software glitch in the keyboard routines....
All at your own risk, of course. Hope it helps.;)
